Love thy neighbour

Love, at the heart of it all, is acceptance.
Acceptance of all persons, for their opinions, their actions, and their decisions, whatever it deems to be, and regardless of whether you approve of them based on your own value system.

Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz made a very enlightening point, on the line and difference between the word 'acceptance' and 'approval'.
I won't attempt to recreate it as I don't feel I have the power to communicate it as well as he did, so I'll just let you watch it for yourself.

What I did take away from his speech is the true essence of loving thy neighbour; one of the main core beliefs of Christianity, and what I hope and believe all religious teachings should be centered on.
Being a Catholic myself, I, like I'm sure most of you, was once skeptical of listening to other religion's moral codes. However I can say with confidence this is one all religions practice, and one I hope we as individuals all continue to follow.
